This painting features a cavalier musician courting a barmaid in a traditional Dutch style interior genre scene. The painting is executed on panel with an old German label on the back and is signed “L Lhotta” with a plaque on the front. Probably mid 19th century central European. We have two paintings by this artist from the same estate listed separately.
