It also pictures members of the family that inhabit this beautiful estate. These scenes are rendered in raised vibrant in colors of gold black and white. On the opposite side there is rendered simple blue flowers rising from the thrush that are native to the owners garden. These ornate floral and geometric patterns celebrate the all over sophistication you see on each black lacquered panel. I acquired this beautiful Chinoiserie screen in a store in Beverly Hills called France tradition in the early 2000's and am passing it on to the next lucky buyer. See less
