It is an English Harris & Land faux tortoise and silverplate tray with a mahogany table base. The piece is from Sheffield, England. Harris and Land was known for its English electroplate. The company was in production for only a couple years. It is marked on the underside. The sunburst faux tortoise is hand painted with the English pique technic. It is in very good condition. The tray itself has a pierced gallery that is in very good condition. See less
