Pair of Vintage Postmodern Mactan Stone Side Tables, highly sought-after design pieces from the 1980s.
The bases are made of sculpted tiles from genuine Mactan stone (a type of natural coral fossil quarried in the Philippines). They feature a signature juxtaposition of a rough-hewn, chiseled exterior texture and a smoothly polished top rim.
Each pedestal displays a stylized architectural cutout cradling a polished stone sphere. The bases support floating, circular glass tops.
