It was filled with dried flowers which is very typical of Victorian turn of the century design. It stands on elegant square tapering legs joined by a lower shelf. The shelf has its own garland design.
Lighter woods such as satinwood and airy forms gained favor during this period, as opposed to the heavier, darker mahogany designs of the Victorian era.
