About the artist.
Marcelle Simone Stoianovich was born in Paris, France May 8 1926. She attended the College des Arts Applique in Paris and exhibited in several gallery in Paris and New york. She gained recognition for her unique style, and had numerous acclaimed shows, including the Salon des Artistes Francais, Maison Francaise. Columbia University, New York. She was also a talented designer. Her work is held in private collections in France and United States. She died in Vanves, France November 14 2014
