This is a pair of Colonial Revival Windsor chairs made by the S. Bent & Brothers company in the mid 20th century. They are known as the "Duxbury" model and feature a comb back, swept crest with upturned "ears", and splayed legs with stylized bulb turnings. They are made of solid maple and have a medium brown original finish.
This model has exceptional styling!

The original finish shows minor wear throughout, particularly in high-use areas. One seat has very little finish wear and one seat shows minor wear (see photos). A prior owner did repair work to two spindles on one chair, with unfinished wood showing at their respective bases. All of this can be remedied with refinishing, but they present very well despite this. less
