French Louis XV Style Dore Bronze Picture Frame. Frame features rich ornamentation with finely cast floral garlands, fruiting vines, and charming figural putti. The crest is crowned by an urn overflowing with flowers, flanked by reclining cherubs and centered by an oval cartouche, while the lower apron features a putto musician amid scrolling foliage and floral swags. Reverse bears the mark "FE". Frame weighs approximately three (3) pounds and accommodates 6" x 5" photo.
In modern interiors, this decorative frame can display a cherished photo or showcase a watercolor or antique portrait. It is ideal to use on a mantel, writing desk, console, or bedside table.
