A rare pair of postmodern CAB 415 lounge chairs by Mario Bellini, made in Italy by Cassina c. 1990s. Upholstered in a rust-toned saddle leather, perfectly broken in by three decades of conscientious use. The oversized frame hosts a spacious seat suitable for hours of comfortable lounging.
The 415 lounge chair was released in 1987, expanding on the success of the CAB 412 and 413 dining chairs. While the latter remain in production today, the lounge chair was discontinued in the 1990s, making them difficult to find. To our knowledge the pair presented here is the only one of its kind currently available in this colorway.
Both chairs are in excellent original condition. The leather is free from tears and significant scratches, while the foam padding remains robust. Both are signed Cassina.
