Beautiful 1950s vintage Murano hand blown fluted Italian art glass flower form bowl or ashtray with scalloped top in a delicious daffodil yellow glass with gold flecks or inclusions throughout. Documented to Ercole Barovier and the Barovier & Toso company in 1950, references shown in the images. The stunning bowl is decorated with yellow colored dots within the very thick and heavy glass.
It has a ribbed body, with petal design rim, with the ends of the bowl pulled down to create a flower shape. This piece is covered in heavy gold leaf throughout the inside of the glass.
A stunning Mid Century piece for a Murano glass collector! Beautiful as display, or use it as a catchall, candy dish or cigar ashtray.
Measures: 7 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" high.
