Antique 19th Century Royal Vienna Style Triple Folate Porcelain Wedding Vase
This elegant 19th-century porcelain triple foliate wedding vase exemplifies the refined artistry of the Imperial and Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Vienna (k.k. Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur), known in the collecting world as Royal Vienna. It features applied flower blossoms (morning glories, roses, carnations, & more), vines, and berries. – finely hand-painted in soft pastel tones. It is heavily gilded and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or damage. The composition, technique, and luxurious finish all point to the influence of the late Rococo Revival and Neoclassical Vienna school of porcelain art.
