Titled Vase De Fleurs Jaune, created in 1958, hand signed in pencil by the artist, this is a remarkable piece by one of the most renowned Cubist artists. It is printed on B.F.K. Rives paper and numbered 79/300 in pencil.
Published by Maeght Editeur, Paris. With the blind stamp of the publisher "Maeght Editeur" at lower left corner. Referenced and pictured in the artist's catalogue raisonne by Dora Vallier and Maeght plate #1039. The image size is 18.75 x 13.25 inches, sheet size is 25.75 x 19.75 inches, including frame is 36.5 x 29.5 inches.
In very good condition, the edge of the sheet slightly toned. Framed in a custom wooden veneer frame, with fabric matting and brown color bevel.

Georges Braque was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most important contributions to the history of art were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1906, and the role he played in the development of Cubism. See less
