These rocking chairs are crafted in a classic American Rustic or lodge aesthetic with natural steam-bent wood saplings or branches (typically from hickory or cedar logs). The armrests are distinctively wide and often referred to as "paddle arms". The cushions are made to bear the sun or rain and still keep its vibrant colorful Chevron pattern looking great!
This iconic style is widely recognized as the traditional Adirondak or lodge porch furniture design, pioneered by historic manufacturers such as the Old Hickory Furniture Company.
