An elegant Japanese Imari porcelain charger plate dating to the Mid 20th Century. Markings on the back. This gorgeous hand painted charger features the traditional underglaze colors of cobalt blue, rusty red and gold with a scalloped gilded rim. The central medallion displays a floral arrangement in a vase with surrounding cartouches displaying stylized white chrysanthemums over blue and white scrolling foliate over red background. This beautiful charger plate would make a fabulous addition to a collection or lovely displayed alone.
Plate holder is not included. Plates in photo grouping are sold separately.
