The collection is regarded as an important example of organic and functional design from that period.

The desk is crafted entirely from solid ash wood, where the wood grain plays a key role in its appearance. The rounded shapes soften the clean lines and give the whole a calm, almost sculptural balance. The front features two side drawers with round handle cutouts and an open central compartment, creating a functional and light composition.

This desk is paired with the original Samara chair from the same collection. The chair is crafted from the same ash wood and features a woven rattan seat, creating an airy contrast with the solid wooden construction. Together, they form a harmonious whole in which material, form, and function complement each other perfectly.

The set is in good vintage condition and is a rare example of thoughtful European design from the 1970s.
