Suvretta bookcase entirely made of wood and covered in Formica. The front features three green laminate shelves with dividers. The frame is made of white and Bacterio pattern laminate. The rectangular base is made of white laminate. The back is unfinished.
Produced by Memphis in 1981 and designed by Ettore Sottsass. Label with the year of production on the side. Numbered 7. With authenticity.
Good condition, with light sings of age. The Formica has some small losses.

"Suvretta" is a Romansh word (a language spoken in the Engadine region) meaning "above the small forest." Like rows of overlapping trees, the books placed on the green shelves of Suvretta take on a rhythmic vertical and diagonal pattern.
The three dividing elements of the vibrant green Suvretta shelves alternate in an inclined and vertical manner, creating a simple and dynamic composition emphasized by the white background and framed by the decorative plastic laminate with the "Bacterio" texture. This piece has an attribution mark,
