The lid and all sides feature richly embossed historical scenes depicting medieval troops, horsemen, and wagons. The sheet metal is lithographed in a wood-imitating pattern.

The original Lutti signature in an oval shape is preserved on the bottom.

The condition visible in the photos, however, must be noted that in reality, the lithographed wood looks slightly better:

numerous traces of age,
surface corrosion,
abrasions and decorative defects,
retains its original patina.

The item has not been restored or repainted.

A rare, large-sized collector's item.
