A rare antique Redfield & Rice ornate handcrafted double bottle holder/carrier. The carrier features an ornate floral and leaf handle, beaded rim and floral trimmed footed base. Each holder features an engraved Greek key band. This unique carrier has an amazing one-of-a-kind aged patina. Signed/stamped on the underside.

11" High by 8-3/4" Wide by 4-1/2" Deep
Each holder is 3-1/2" Diameter

Redfield & Rice was considered a prominent American manufacturer of uniquely ornate silver-plated flatware and hollowware, with their factory being based in New York, NY. Dates of operation is estimated between 1863 and 1872. The company became incorporated in 1866 and eventually went bankrupt in 1872. Today, their pieces are highly sought after especially by collectors of 19th-century Americana.
