We are selling this 18th Century Oil on Panel painting. This painting is Continental in Origin, probably Central European like Germany or Austrian but done in a Italian style. The painting features a biblical scene most likely of a martyrdom of a saint. The painting is done on a Walnut panel comprised of several pieces.
Condition: Some separation at the joints of the panel with paint loss and wear on the surface. Frame is later.
