This antique French bibliotheque was handcrafted from burl mahogany with an oak interior and features the straight lined architecture characteristic of the Louis Philippe period. Beautifully figured book-matched veneer panels along the bottom and sides, it has two locking glass front doors and it has four adjustable shelves on saw tooth brackets to configure as needed. Stunning color and patina with all original pieces including the original key. Appears to retain the original wavy glass with imperfections found in glass from the late 1800s.
