A handsome late Victorian English silver-plated tankard by The Nottingham Electroplating Co., Nottingham, England. Crafted in the late 19th century, this tavern-style mug features a gracefully waisted form, rolled rim, and sturdy cast handle. The underside retains the original maker’s stamp, identifying the piece as a product of the Nottingham Electroplating Company of Sherwood Street, Nottingham.
Created in high-quality A1 silver plate over copper, the tankard has developed warm copper highlights at the handle from decades of use, adding authentic character and visual depth.
