This brutalist style box is both weighty and tactile with the maker's mark impressed on the aluminium cover and another one appears on the leathery underside as a stamp with the company's name along with its origin, 'Sevilla, España'. The shiny brass middle on the exterior is sensuously curvy rendering the brutalist design just a bit softer.

This piece is in very good overall condition with characterful marks and some minor blemishing consistent with age and usage. The underside of the lid has an inscription: 'Carmen y Fernando 15 de Abril 1963-1988'. It seems to be a present from one to the other for a 25th anniversary. We hope Carmen and Fernando are still together. Please enjoy the many photos accompanying the listing.
