The dark stained wooden frame creates … Read more Elegant pair of upholstered club armchairs featuring sculptural bentwood armrests and decorative floral-pattern upholstery. The dark stained wooden frame creates a refined contrast with the richly patterned fabric and highlights their timeless character. The chairs remain in original, very good condition with normal signs of age and use consistent with their period. The structure is well preserved and the upholstery appears original. One chair shows localized liquid stains (see photos). Sturdy and stabile, can be used immediately. Well suited as statement seating pieces, for a sophisticated residential interior, hotel lobby, or as part of a collection of decorative design from the first half of the 20th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
