Featuring a unique oval shape and hinged lid, the piece is finished in a high gloss black lacquer with small eggshell fragments as adornments. Numerous layers of lacquer are applied to build up the surface until it is smooth and can be polished to a high sheen. The interior is finished in glossy black lacquer. Artist signed. See less
