19th century English oak small potbound/console table with lovely hand carved decoration.
The top of this piece is made from two boards, which are pegged and has a beveled edge. This follows down to a hand carved decorated apron. The front of the piece has two drawers, both with hand carved drawer fronts, flanked by hand carved cushions inside a carved border.
The piece is supported on simple legs in the back and hand turned barely twist legs in the front, joined by a lower shelf. The turned legs are raised on hand turned feet.
This piece is a wonderful size and will be a wonderful addition to any room in which it is placed.
