Designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Asko, this iconic Crinoline lounge chair dates to the 1960s and is crafted in birch with a black lacquer finish. One of the most celebrated examples of Finnish modern design, the chair features a sweeping spindle back inspired by the silhouette of a crinoline skirt.
Elegant from every angle, the chair combines sculptural presence with surprising comfort. Its curved rail, tapered legs, and airy construction make it equally suited to daily use or display as a collectible design object.

Bears Label for Asko. Very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear. Structurally sound and presents beautifully.
