Vintage Viking Glass Epic freeform platter in the iconic "Bluenique" turquoise color. A quintessential piece of American mid-century modern glassmaking — the elongated, organic "leaf" silhouette with upswept points is one of the most recognizable forms from Viking's Epic line.
Viking Glass produced the Epic line from 1956 to 1975 at their factory in New Martinsville, West Virginia. The "Bluenique" color was introduced in 1958 and remains among the most sought-after Epic hues — a vibrant, jewel-tone turquoise that catches light beautifully.
The freeform "atomic" shape and bold color make this a striking centerpiece, serving platter, or decorative bowl. Equally at home in a mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency, or coastal interior.
