Description: Offered is a fine 1970s Vintage Reproduction
Porcelain Peking Duck Tureen by Mottahedeh, after an historical English Lowestoft piece. The original piece was acquired by Mildred and Rati Mottahedeh for their private collection and ther used as a model. The two piece tureen is beautifully hand decorated in the Imari style, features gilt tipped feathers in shades of orange and white, beak in shades of brown, and black eyes highlighted with a yellow surround, over a salmon ground exterior and white interior. The underplate piece is stamped
"LOWESTOFT REPRODUCTION CREATED BY MOTTAHEDEH" and labeled "A Mottahedeh Design", on the bottom.
