Here we have an antique side chair crafted from tiger maple, featuring striking flame grain along the back support and side rail. The chair has a woven rush seat arranged in a traditional envelope pattern and rests on turned front legs with simple stretchers for stability. The back splat and curved rear support create a distinctive silhouette that reflects early American furniture design influences.

The wood shows a warm, rich finish that highlights the natural figuring of the maple. Visible wear consistent with age, including minor scuffs and surface marks, adds to its authentic character.
