The box, made entirely of exotic wood, is embellished with inlays of gilded bronze alternating with ivory, depicting floral motifs. On the sides are two finely chiselled gilded bronze handles, which make it easy to carry. Inside are four bottles with corks and twelve small glasses, all contemporary and in good condition.
