Vintage French polychrome tole chandelier dating from the 1960s. This five-light fixture is decorated with hand-formed flowers, wheat stalks, and scrolling foliage arranged around a bundled sheaf-style center secured with braided metal detailing.
The chandelier retains its original painted finish in shades of green, blue, yellow, pink, and cream. The botanical composition and wheat motifs are characteristic of French tole lighting produced during the mid-20th century.
