A very unusual European porcelain ewer made in a shape of an Ibrik - Islamic, Oriental water vessel
Fine white porcelain prepared for the Islamic market
Characteristic shape with elongated neck and highly raised sprout
Sculptured very beautifully, it has great decorative appeal
Some marking stamped at the bottom 470 A
Circa 2nd half of 19th century, 1860's - 1890's, Victorian era
Measurements: Approx. 15.5" high x 9.5" across with the spout x 7" widest diameter
Weighs about 3 lbs. 12 oz.
