Pair of Vintage Postmodern Architectural House Bookends
A pair of vintage modernist bookends featuring a geometric, architectural house motif. The design is heavily influenced by the 1980s Memphis Milano movement. Picked up recently at an estate auction in Golden Valley, MN.

Materials: Painted /Eenameled sheet metal
Each piece is constructed from sturdy, bent sheet metal. The body features a matte black finish with an open center archway, topped by a bright yellow triangular roof and accented with two yellow circular discs at the base.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Structures are sturdy with light surface wear and some paint imperfections consistent with age and typical use. See photos. There are a couple spots where the paint has chipped off exposing the steel underneath. No maker's marks or stamps are present.
