The … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown dark pink, opal white, and gold flecks Italian art glass swan sculpture / figurine. The piece is documented to designer Archimede Seguso, with original "Archimede Seguso - Murano - Made In Italy" red label still attached to its chest. The bird is published in an Archimede Seguso book (see last photo, reference below), circa 1957. The bird is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. It was made in an “Ombre” technique, which fades from dark pink to light pink and ends in white at the tail. It sits on a dark green base. There is also a larger, and worn, item number label underneath. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or curio cabinet. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 5 3/4” tall x 4” long x 2 1/2” wide.
