Very rare and interesting trio of English Edwardian breweriana decorative plates. Two smaller plates are Dickens characters, Dick Swiveller from Old Curiosity Shop and Tony Weller from Pickwick Papers - note both of those plates have Worthington brewery sign within design. Both made by Newhall Hanley Pottery between 1930 and 1951, and based on original Charles Noke designs for Royal Doulton same series.
Larger plate made by Staffordshire Teaset Co. Ltd., between 1947 and 1960 ,and features the Eldridge & Pope brewery's Royal Oak Ale on the sign.
Smaller plates measure 4 x 4 x .5 inches, larger measures 4.5 x 4.5 x .5 inches
Backstamps present on all.
Superb collectable for breweriana and English ceramics collectors.
