Vintage 1970s brass whale table lamp with a substantial sculptural whale form mounted on an oval wood base. The whale itself measures 12.5" long and has a rounded brass body with a raised tail, small side fin, and warm aged patina. The base appears to be walnut or walnut-stained hardwood, with rounded edges and a medium brown finish.
The lamp has a brass center rod and a textured grasscloth shade. A strong piece for a beach house, lake house, study, den, or coastal inspired interior.
Uses a standard base bulb (not included).
