This exquisite Edwardian-era print captures the brilliant light, atmospheric clouds, and romantic sailing vessels of the Venetian harbor in breathtaking detail. Produced using a premium multi-stone layering process, it displays an incredible depth of rich, oil-based color that beautifully replicates an original oil painting. The print retains its dual signature stamp "T Moran 1898 / 1912" in the lower margin. The artwork is completely housed in its original early-20th-century dark wood frame, featuring iconic corner-mitered detailing and elegant geometric gilt-accented moldings. A spectacular, turnkey statement piece perfect for traditional, eclectic, or grandmillennial interiors. I love the way the sky jumps out of the chromolithograph. See less

The frame shows honest wear appropriate for its age, including minor gesso chipping and paint finish loss along the mitered corners, exposing the lighter base material underneath. The print features a period-authentic textured finish. The original brown backing paper on the reverse is present but torn due to age. Minor paper undulations and light surface smudging are present under the glass. Overall a beautifully patinated, structurally sound statement piece ready to hang. less
