The warm walnut-toned wood frame is accented with nailhead trim surrounding the upholstered back panel, while the seat retains its tufted cushion with coordinating upholstery.

A decorative hand-painted rose motif adorns the front apron, adding cottage-inspired character and Old World appeal. The underside retains a 1973 upholstery tag from a Los Angeles upholsterer, documenting a period reupholstery while suggesting the chair itself may be earlier in date.

This versatile chair works beautifully as a vanity chair, bedroom accent chair, desk chair, dining side chair, or decorative occasional seating.

Condition

Good vintage condition consistent with age and use. Upholstery remains usable and presents well. Surface wear, finish loss, scratches, and minor edge wear are present throughout the wooden frame, particularly around the seat rails and corners.
