A beautiful late Victorian covered tureen attributed to Ridgways of Staffordshire, England, in the sought-after Persia pattern, dating to the Aesthetic Movement period circa 1885–1890.
This decorative porcelain tureen features a richly detailed floral design in warm burnt orange, cream, and black tones, accented by elegant double handles and an unusual pagoda-form finial that reflects the period's fascination with Asian-inspired decorative arts.
The piece exhibits exceptional decorative presence and works beautifully as a display object in traditional, English country, cottage, grandmillennial, or chinoiserie-inspired interiors.
