The shaped rectangular top has a molded edge; the two lyre-shaped supports are joined by a turned central stretcher; the piece rests on graceful scrolled feet.

Likely walnut, with a warm dark tone. A versatile accent piece that works equally well beside a sofa, at a bedside, or in an entryway.
Acquired in Switzerland in the 1940s this piece has been in my family for nearly a century.
