This … Read more A French Empire style oval side table, with brass accents, from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. This antique table from France features an oval-shaped top with a decorative veneer finish, over the apron adorned with brass floral accents and housing a drawer at one side. An elegant brass escutcheon is fitted at drawer center. The table is presented upon three inwardly bowed legs, that terminate onto a triangular pedestal base. The brass embellishments continue onto the knees, and base in front of each leg. Please note that there is some slight staining and crack at the top, and that some of the veneers are slightly lifted and not laying perfectly flat. This late 19th century French Empire style oval table would be a wonderful addition, with ability to be a floatable option to your seating arrangement in a living room, study, or bedroom setting.
