Antique 19th-Century Nursing Chair – Louis Seize Style, England (Victorian)
This beautiful white 19th-century nursing chair is an elegant example of Louis Seize style and originates from Dorset, England. Featuring traditional webbing and a soft sand-colored cushion, the antique nursing chair dates from the Victorian era (1837–1901) and combines historical charm with refined craftsmanship. Originally designed for the comfortable care of children and breastfeeding, the low seat offered mothers, dressed in tight corsets, optimal ease of use without having to bend forward.

The classic design and soft, neutral tone make the chair an elegant eye-catcher for the living room, bedroom, or nursery, where comfort and historical authenticity come together. Perfect for lovers of antique furniture, Louis Seize design, and Victorian interior style looking for a timeless and characterful statement piece.
