Vintage art deco storage unit or bar cabinet from the 1940s, reminiscent of the work of josef hoffmann or francisque chaleyssin.
we love the overall design: its compact form, the doors with their graphic square details in the center, and the well-defined base topped with spheres that create a beautiful visual connection between the base and the top of the cabinet.
the doors slide inward in a clever design, saving valuable space when open. Inside, there are two storage levels, all finished in a deep burgundy lacquer.
the top features a folding opening mechanism with a wooden handle knob.
the cabinet body is made of solid oak with a light limed finish. It is in good overall condition, though some minor imperfections may be present in the wood, such as small chips, marks, and small flaws on the door hinges.
