This swivel chair is listed in the Thonet catalogue of 1886 as "Drehstockerl mit Rücklehne", in English as "Music chair, caned back". In the 1906 catalogue it is described as "Drehstockerl Nr. 1 / Nr. 5101".
There are different versions of this swivel chair. This one most closely matches the one depicted in the 1906 catalogue. The chair has a warm brown colour. Marked with paper Thonet label.
