Magnificent and rare Art Deco Modernist desk with matching armchair. Design in the style of Frits Spanjaard. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak base with original macassar ebony lining and two original pull out shelves with ebony knobs. The writing section is re-upholstered by the former owner with green leather. Behind the left door are two drawers with original knobs and a section for documents. Behind the right door are three original pull out drawers. The matching armchair is also made out of solid oak with original macassar ebony lining and the seat is also re-upholstered by the former owner in green leather.
Measurements armchair: H: 79 cm or 31.1 in.W:64,5 cm or 25.2 in.D: 22.05 in.Seat Height: 49,5 cm or 19.29 in. This wonderful set is in very good original condition with a beautiful patina.
