Original vintage New Yorker magazine cover dated May 11, 1946 featuring a Wedding Cake theme. Based on an illustration by Ludwig Bemelmans (1898-1962).
This is an authentic New Yorker magazine cover - not a reproduction. It is in excellent condition with no imperfections. Measures approx. 8 x 11 inches.
Cover is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert for additional protection. Includes a certificate with additional information and a brief history of New Yorker cover art.
