Exceptional late 19th-century French Sevres-style centerpiece featuring a richly colored bleu céleste porcelain bowl adorned with finely hand-painted cherub reserves, floral garlands, and lavish gilt decoration. The porcelain is mounted in an elaborate ormolu bronze framework with openwork gallery, scrolling foliate handles, and an architectural pedestal base. The quality of the hand painting, vibrant turquoise ground, and substantial gilt bronze mounts make this an impressive decorative statement piece. Equally suited as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or grand console display, it embodies the elegance and craftsmanship associated with French Napoleon lll luxury furnishings.
