The vessel is carved from richly veined alabaster, its surface alive with soft caramel, ivory, and charcoal striations that glow warmly when light passes through. Subtle carved detailing circles the upper portion, giving the form a gentle sense of movement. The iron stand, shaped into looping scrolls and ringed supports, brings a dark, textural contrast to the translucency of the stone. Sold and priced individually. Condition: Good vintage condition. Chips are present along the edges of the alabaster vase, with additional surface scratches and areas of discoloration consistent with age. The wrought-iron stand is sturdy, showing oxidation and patina typical of its material and era. See less
