In the apron are two small drawers with beautiful drop-handle hardware separated by lock & key in between. The tall open shelf below is split by five parallel dividers to the right side, once used to hold ledger books and now can organize a small collection of record albums, newspapers, magazines, or other media. Robust, turned legs swell and taper in a ringed profile for an exciting silhouette, ending on tapered feet that keeps the design light and accessible. This table has been gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to preserve the historic character although there remains heavily scratched areas on the top surface.
