An assembled collection of 19th century English black transferware ironstone, featuring mostly Pagoda pattern pieces with a few Classical landscape designs. This dramatic grouping includes serving pieces, platters, plates, saucers, tea bowls, a teapot, sauce boat, tureen, and additional small dishes.
The collection has a wonderfully layered English country house look, with deep black transfer decoration against creamy ironstone bodies. Patterns include pagoda scenes, chinoiserie-inspired landscapes, classical landscapes, and decorative borders. Beautiful displayed together in a cabinet, on open shelving, or layered into a collected wall or tabletop arrangement.
